Wrapped box - Intact game material - A sunken corner - Game in french
On November 30, 1803, the United States of America bought Louisiana from Napoleon. President Jefferson decides to send two explorers, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, to discover this immense terra incognita.
In Lewis & Clark, each player leads his own "Corps of Discovery" across the continent. Players lead an expedition across the North American continent. Your goal? Reach the Pacific coast first by crossing the United States. Lewis & Clark is a racing game.
Each player leads his own expedition across the United States. Each player has in hand character cards that form his expedition. These characters allow them to perform actions such as collecting resources, advancing along the route or asking for help from the Indians. To be triggered, the action corresponding to a card must be associated with a Force provided either by another card or by Indians. Each turn, a player must perform an action. He can also recruit a new Character and improve his hand of cards. Finally, players can regularly set up their Camp in order to take over the cards already played. But the loading of resources and the number of Indians taken in can eventually cause the player to lose his hard-earned lead. The management of resources and Indians is therefore crucial in the game. The game ends immediately as soon as a player has brought his Camp on or beyond Fort Clatsop.
Only the first place counts.
