Dimitri Bukharin is the fifth man to hold the title of Crimson Dynamo and the current leader of the Winter Guard. Following the failure of his predecessor Yuri Petrovich, Bukharin was given the suit of electric armor and the code name to fight at the request of his superiors in the Russian army. A man of mystery, little is known about this Crimson Dynamo's past. He proved to be a loyal and devoted soldier to the Russian people, even when his superiors did not show him the same loyalty.
Laynia Petrovna is Darkstar, a former member of a super team assembled to retrieve the elusive Black Widow. Darkstar defected to the United States where she fought as part of the Black Widow's elite strike force. Born with the power to access the energy of the Darkforce dimension, she can use it in many ways. Whether it's turning it into pure dark energy constructs or releasing it in the form of powerful explosions, Darkstar should not be underestimated.
