Commissioned in 1916, Caio Duilio originally carried an armament of thirteen 12-inch main guns. Compared to contemporary foreign battleships, it was slightly faster, slightly under armed (the 12-inch gun was rapidly being replaced by something larger in most navies) and not as well protected. From 1937 to 1940, Caio Duilio went through a total overhaul transforming it into a ‘fast’ battleship. The main guns were bored out to 12.6 inch, the island structure modernised, and speed improved to 26 knots. Caio Duilio was damaged by a torpedo during the Battle of Taranto and was towed to Genoa for 6 months of repairs. She participated in the First Battle of Sirte before being placed in reserve in 1942.

Contains one resin/metal battleship, with game aids.
