Both Minders and Emertius Drones are Scout choices for the Scourge, helping extend Command range and also providing firing lines for their (albeit quite rare) Indirect weapons.
Minders are best suited for intercepting enemy aircraft, using their short-ranged Micro Arc Casters to bring down Dropships. 
Meanwhile the Emeritus Incendiary Drones are all about getting close very quickly to use their devastating Self-Destruct to remove most things in a large radius!
