These powerful mining machines are based on the same heavily armored hull that can withstand the highest firepower. Both variants are equipped with two autocannons that ignore all cover, making them excellent weapons for eliminating hidden units.

The Avernus is equipped with a large mining laser mounted on the rear of the hull. This weapon fires a beam that pierces anything in its path, be it a building, an armored vehicle or an infantry unit. The Cerberus swaps the direct firepower of the mining laser for the more versatile vent repeater. Fire from this weapon can inflict devastating damage and, in desperate times, the crew can overload the repeater to increase the weapon's energy, but this can have dire consequences.
