Starfinder - Driftdead

When a humanoid dies in the Drift while consumed with a strong negative emotion, it can become a driftdead, leaving its old corpse behind and forming a new undead body out of the mingled planar energies of the Drift. A driftdead's body is inextricably linked to the Drift. If one ever leaves the Drift, its planar body remains within the Drift, and the driftdead becomes incorporeal until returning there. A driftdead is bound to the Drift and unable to escape and reach the Boneyard for judgment. Its damaged mind is overwhelmed by madness, rage, and hatred for the living.
