We Shall Fight On The Marne is an operational level simulation of the First Marne, 1914 for two players or solo. After invading Belgium and northeastern France, the German army has reached within 30 miles of Paris.
With victory seemingly at hand, the First German Army is ordered to surround Paris from the east. Thus begins the battle of the First Marne.
The game simulates bombardment, aerial observation, bridges and pontoons, weather, cavalry reaction and reconnaissance, forced marches, command and breakthrough movements.
