A dark and perilous exploration of the Empire This second volume focuses on those mountains of muscle and fat
fat, the ogres, originally from the Mountains of Tears, but now settled throughout the Empire and the world.

- Ogres of the Empire: two entire chapters are dedicated to ogres, their place
their place in the Empire. This includes three new Careers.

- Star signs and astrology: this chapter describes the astrological
 signs that dot the skies of the Old World, as well as the meanings
and the meanings people attribute to them.

- Magical objects: although rare in the Old World, these objects are
powerful and coveted.

- The Great Hospice: far from the perils of the world, the Great Hospice provides
refuge for those who need it, and can afford it.

- Theater of War: although combat is commonplace in WFJDR
WFJDR games, open warfare is rarely addressed.
