Rules for managing a game using 6-sided dice. Here again, the approach is simple and straightforward, but there are a few subtleties (which don't apply to all dice rolls): list your agent's assets for resolving an action, collect the resulting dice (no more than 6), and convert the extra dice into mastery points. Roll the dice and add them together to overcome a difficulty set by the Game Master (GM). If you roll more than the difficulty, your agent achieves an excessive success which, in certain delicate cases, can trigger a complication.
   

 If you obtain the exact difficulty value, your agent achieves a perfect success that offers an advantage or is necessary to resolve a delicate situation where restraint and precision are crucial. Mastery points help you achieve perfect success. In some cases, 6s can be "rigged" and worth 0, either because your agent suffers from a penalizing condition, or because the Plot Brain (the villain of the story) has played Advance Hits to trap the action (provided he was able to anticipate your agent's doings). The 1's are the tricks of the trade that make it easier for your agent to get away with murder.

With 21 moves to go, the Brain is finalizing his Machiavellian plan, so the agents must be careful not to offer him victory by committing blunders.
