Bonaparte's first offensive, April 1796
With his mission order just received from Paris, Bonaparte established his headquarters in Nice and took command of a frontline force of 35,168 men of the Army of Italy, ordering them to cross the mountains and head for a confrontation at Montenotte. After Beaulieu's 26,697 men of the Army of Italy escaped danger and headed for Acqui, the Piedmontese Army became Bonaparte's next target.
The game includes the battles of Montenotte, Dego, San Michele, Ceva (not listed on the box cover) and Mondovi. A campaign game linking the battles is also possible.
