The city of Retribution has become the center of the Union's active presence in the Arizona territory, once considered a lawless place.
No one knows if this is due to its proximity to Dr. Carpathian's Promethean complex, the Warcradle.
The fact is that as the city grows, so does its population of soldiers. The official reason is that they are needed to protect the inhabitants from the influence of the Illuminati, the raids of the Warrior Nation, and the outlaws who are a threat.
It is strange, however, that so many soldiers are sent out of town on exercises, given that they are sworn to protect the public. When they are in town, they can be found at the Union Barracks, where they perform light duties and recuperate from their efforts in the field.
