Add exciting new astronomical phenomena to your Planetarium games!
A new late bombardment effect erases the evolution track and redistributes matter on the board, and also creates comets, which can be used as "wild" matter.
Planetarium Primordial adds two modules to the basic game: Epochs and Frost Line. You can add either or both.
- Epochs: The solar system begins without a planet. Instead of moving a Matter token or a Planet, a player can create a Protoplanet. Later, a player can play a Proto Evolution card to transform the Protoplanet into a Planet. The first time the acceleration space is reached, it triggers the late heavy bombardment (all the matter on the evolution track fills the empty spaces in the solar system, and comets may appear). The second time acceleration space is reached, acceleration proceeds normally.
- Freeze line: This line lies between orbits III and IV (it moves inwards or outwards if a red dwarf or A-type star is used). The Low, High and Final Evolution cards of the normal game are replaced by those of the expansion. Planetary evolution now follows the heat and cold markers. If using the Variable Star token, players can spend victory points to vary the brightness of the star one notch up or down, moving the frost line accordingly.
Requires the core game to play.
