The ninth supplemental issue of Sombre magazine consists mostly of an article on the Call of the Bayou scenario, published in Sombre No. 9, playtests complementing those published in Special Issue 8, and new cards for The Darkly Dozen, published in Special Issue 4.
Although 72 pages long, this supplement is numbered up to page 70, with a 2-page set of game aids forming a central insert.
Inside this supplement you will find:
- Article: Hatecraft (44 pages) tells the story of the process of adapting the first part of the short story The Call of Cthulhu into the scenario The Call of the Bayou: the choices of gameplay, setting and characters, Johan Scipion's relationship to Lovecraft and his work.
- Feedbacks Zéro : Planète Nawak 2 (14 pages) presents the last two playtest reports of the antagonist generator and the drama map, presented in Hors-Série 8.
- Extension Max: The Darkly Dozen 4 (10 pages) presents the additional tile rules for The Darkly Dozen, published in Hors-Série 4: new PRO cards (Archaeologist, Bad Cop, Cyborg...) with explanations on the role or equipment, rules or playing tips for some cards.
The insert (2 pages) provides several game aids to photocopy, new character tiles for The Darkly Dozen.
