Between the two world wars, aviation experienced a breathtaking boom. Man discovered that he could tame the sky and go even further.

Technical innovations, a thirst for adventure, frantic racing and freedom of movement - the seaplane represented the ideal means of transport that could go anywhere, arousing the adoration of a world yearning for hope after the horrors of the First World War.
