An educational card game for family or school play.
Each player starts with their own deck of 20 cards plus five in their hand (depending on the number of players). You begin by placing a basic production card to create a new habitat. Each animal card shows what it can eat, up to and including the apex predator. Each new habitat is connected as the game progresses, but with human structures such as roads and housing developments, these habitats can be disconnected.
Animals that were once able to move are now trapped. You must strategically place your animals, human projects and natural events to thwart your opponents. The game mechanics are designed to demonstrate in a practical way how humans cause problems but also how we can help through this simple, family-friendly game.
Each animal card also contains data about the animal in question, allowing you to learn things like its weight, size and population habits, as well as its place on the endangered species list.
In the rules, you'll also find a list of organizations that are working hard to protect our natural world.
The first player to lay down all their cards wins the game.
