Ozerekya Breakout is a scenario/campaign game that offers players the unique challenge of fighting a medium unit action in the Ozerekya River Valley, south of the Black Sea town of Glebovka, Russia, February 4-7, 1943. It contains:

- A 24 x 33 inch color historical map of the river valley south of Glebovka

- Four Scenarios played on different parts of the map

- A campaign of eight scenarios

- The OzB chapter which includes rules for playing the game in a campaign

The four scenarios included cover the following situations:

- Glebovka, Russia, February 4, 1943: In the early morning hours, Soviet maritime forces have landed on the peninsula along the western side of Ozerekya Bay. These forces were led by tank spearheads and advanced rapidly toward Glebovka, where they came upon a Romanian mortar position set up in the vineyards of an old manor house.....

- Glebovka, Russia, February 4, 1943: In the early morning hours of February 4, Soviet maritime forces landed on the peninsula along the western side of Ozerekya Bay. The Soviet forces were led by the American-built Stuart tank spearheads of the 563rd Tank Brigade...

- Glebovka, Russia, February 5, 1943: By late afternoon, this force threatened to capture the Axis-held town of Glebovka. In desperation, the Romanians, in an attempt to slow the Russian advance, launched every unit they had on hand. The sappers of the 58th Battalion located near Krasno Medvedovskaya and the newly arrived German Panzerjägers of the Panzerjäger Abteilung 173 were quickly thrown into the battle...

- Glebovka, Russia, February 6, 1943: Although three barges, four patrol boats, two steiners, a tugboat, and a patrol boat were sunk and sixteen patrol boats, two tugs, and two patrol boats were damaged, the Soviets managed to land 1,427 men and 10 tanks before dawn. However, the landing force had no radio communication with the fleet...

Ozerekya Breakout is not a complete game and possession of a tactical wargame system such as Advanced Squad Leader from MMP, Advanced Tobruk System from Critical Hit, or Firefly WWII Battlegroup Actions is required.
