Investigations, battles and epic journeys will accompany our heroes on their quest to restore order to the Pajan lands!

In Okko: The Legendary Journey, you will play as a hero of the Demon Hunter group as you travel through the lands of the Pajan Empire in search of clues that will help you unmask the Oni who has infiltrated the Shogun's court.

But beware, hurry up and accomplish your mission before the forces of darkness corrupt the hearts of men for good...

At the beginning of the game, each player chooses a Hero who he feels is suited to accomplish his mission and beat the board.

A hero has combat and investigative skills that allow him to confront his enemies and meet the challenges that come his way. In addition, each hero has a special ability that gives him an advantage in certain situations.
Each board represents a specific cycle as it appears in the comic book.
They have their own progression and are accompanied by specific enemies and rules. Heroes must progress in a specific order if they are to gather enough evidence to expose the corrupt courtiers in Pajan's court.

The game is broken down into several rounds in which the Heroes must complete the following sequence, one after the other:
  •     Draw an Enemy card.
  •     Draw an Adventure card and keep it in your hand.
  •     Trade an Adventure card with the second player.
  •     Spend 1 day to: Draw 2 Adventure cards or Play a Special card or Resolve an encounter or Move to a new area.
  •     Potentially remove a Damage Chit from the Hero's card.
  •     On the board, face-down tokens represent the various courtiers of the Shogun Court.
Each time the Heroes meet a challenge, or after defeating the "boss" of the board, a player may turn over one or more tokens, memorize them, and place them back face down.

At the end of the game, the Heroes must discover 3 Oni hiding among the Shogun's courtiers by remembering what they have learned about the tokens throughout the game!
