City Owl was created in 2018 while Sébastien Féraut was working on a mini series of surreal animals. The initial idea was to create an owl from several combinations of graphic compositions in a rather dark colorimetric atmosphere with bright touches. The illustrator wanted to integrate a city into the illustration to contrast with the wild aspect of the animal. The owl holds the keys to the city: although it has invaded his territory, he remains the master... at least at night.
