Imperial Miners: Aztecs vs Weirdlings is the first expansion for Imperial Miners and introduces 2 new factions. 

It allows players to choose 6 of the 8 factions available for each game and explore different strategies. New features include dual-function cards for day and night, and cards whose effects depend on the cards in the player's hand.

Weirdlings are those who flee the surface: vampires, werewolves and witches who have not found a home on the surface. They live underground and only come out after dark.

The effects of the Weirdling cards depend on which side of the Sun/Moon token is visible. Control the cycle of day and night to trigger the card when it is most useful.

Most Aztec card effects depend on the cards in the player's hand - their faction, cost and level. Thanks to them, the game is played not only on the table but also in the hand!
