Castles of Aragon is a print at home roll and write game for one to unlimited number of players. In this game you will be shaping the land of Aragon as you please. Your goal is to create the most habitable land by putting forests, fields, pastures and houses around six Aragonian castles.
Game is very simple but challenging. During each turn you have to either draw a given terrain type (forest, fields, pastures, town) on the game sheet or add another castle. Each castle has its own rules for scoring, quite different from the others. For example all terrains surrounding the castle must have even value, or surrounding terrain's value must create a string, etc. You must think how to build them across your land in a way that allows terrain scattering to help you score as many points from multiple castles as possible and not to counter it. You will also score for the biggest created terrain formation, so players try to lay the terrains and castles in a way to combine several ways of scoring.
