In the distance, an enemy pirate ship is approaching! Prepare the cannonballs and be ready for battle. Focus, weaken your enemy piece by piece with targeted fire and use the looted loot to repair your boat. Who will win this explosive battle on the high seas?

Goal of the game:
Skillfully throws the cannonballs to sink the opposing ship! You win the game as soon as your opponent has more than his bow and stern cards in play! 

Mechanism :
Set up each of your boats in front of you, at a reasonable distance from each other. When it's your turn, take a ball and throw it like a Frisbee on the enemy ship to hit it! If you don't touch any part of the boat, you miss, it's up to your opponent to play. If you touch the bow or stern but no other part of the boat, too bad, it's also up to your opponent to play! The bow and stern cannot be destroyed and must remain in play until the end of the game. Did you manage to touch all of your opponent's hulls? He has only the bow and stern in front of him? Congratulations! You showed a great skill at this part!

    Simple, rapide à jouer et sans prétention aucune, Pirate Ships est un petit jeu au plaisir instantané, idéal à déployer sur une nappe de pique-nique ou directement par terre dans le salon. On lance nos sous-bocks en inventant des apostrophes dignes du Capitaine Haddock, et on enchaîne une dizaine de parties avant de hisser le drapeau blanc, en créant 1001 variantes plus délirantes les unes que les autres. Le jeu sort souvent, facilement, pour des petites escarmouches palpitantes avant que la mer ne revienne au calme. Pirate Ships fait donc partie de ces ptis jeux pour lesquels on a une réelle tendresse, même s’ils ne vont certainement pas révolutionner l’âge de la piraterie. Simple, rapide et bon, tout bêtement.
