A game by Christian Fiore and Knut Happel, simple enough to be played from the age of 6, smart enough to be played and replayed by gamers.

The rule is indeed simple:

6 beads are always available in the center of the table.

In turn, you can:
  • or collect all the pearls of a color in your hand (no more than 10 cards in hand),
  • or lower pearls of a color (and possible black joker pearls) to increase his treasure and win the corresponding necklace.

The game is over when there is no more necklace to win or pearl in the pickaxe. Each player can lower once more.

Each player then adds up the pearls and necklaces in his treasure and deducts the pearls he still has in his hand to determine the winner.


After that, how to play well? It's not easy:
  • Should we target the large collars or take the small ones to deprive the others?
  • Should we collect the little pearls or let the opponents fill their hands and take advantage of the opportunity?
  • Is it profitable to take a ride to collect jokers?
  • Large pearls are very attractive but they will count in negative if the game stops too quickly.
  • By collecting a lot of pearls at once, isn't there a risk of giving a huge gift to your opponents?

The choices are easy (quick) but difficult (evaluation is difficult).

In any case, Pearls is played at a frantic pace and it is very tempting to play a series of games.

In addition, it can be played by up to 6 players and from 6 years old.

The luck of the draw means that everyone can win a round, but on the length the best will win.

    Simple et sympa. Nous y jouons en famille avec notre fils de 6 ans.

    On a bien aimé en famille durant tout l'été, avec des joueurs de passage, souvent d'autres pays. On a résumé le jeu et mis diverses photos sur notre instagram alors vu que ça se passe en 2000 caractères maxi, n'hésitez pas à passer !
