Putin's Northern War: The Struggle for Finland is a wargame in which one player controls the forces of the Kremlin and the other the Finnish forces.

The crisis modelled here, although unlikely (yet) likely, would certainly emerge if two "neutral" Scandinavian countries were to join NATO. This would be unacceptable to Putin. Its aim here would therefore be to launch a swift and successful campaign against Finland, in the manner of a blitzkrieg, while probably seizing the geostrategic location of the Swedish island of Gotland.

This game can be played as a standalone game, or it can be used as part of a new "Great Campaign Scenario" in combination with the game Poutin Strikes.
