The Ice Kin are more robust than their southern brethren.

They dress in thick furs and leather, the delicate fabrics worn by other elves not being suited to the northern lands. Half-elves are almost universally treated as pariahs in the Elvenholme kingdoms.

Conversely, they are often perceived by humans as enigmatic and desirable. More hot-blooded and impetuous than their elven relatives, they struggle with their dual heritage, constantly fighting internal battles for control.

Only the Ice Kin, bolstered by Talannar's understanding of their plight, are willing to embrace these unfortunates, helping them temper their anger and focus it on the battlefield for a good and worthy cause.
