In the farthest reaches of space, where mankind has yet to dare go, a sturdy Rove (short for Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer) is often deployed.

You are one of these units. Unfortunately, your navigation systems have malfunctioned and you've been forced to make a crash landing on a hostile alien planet. Armed only with your panoply of motion-enhancing modules, you'll have to roll, stretch, flail and bounce your way to safety and complete the mission before your power runs out... permanently.

Rove is a single-player space puzzle game. In each game of Rove, the player is faced with a series of mishaps that can only be solved by arranging the 6 module cards according to a specific pattern. Moving a module requires movement points obtained by discarding cards from the hand for the amount indicated. Players can earn extra points if their current module layout matches the pattern shown on the discarded card.

Each module costs 1 movement point per activation and uses its own style of movement, for example moving only diagonally or pushing other modules back a single square. Modules also have powerful single-use abilities that can help players get out of a tight spot. The right timing of these abilities - as well as effective use of the limited number of Movement cards - will help the player complete Rove's mission.
