Yojimbo (用心棒 Yōjinbō, "Bodyguard") is a Japanese film realized in 1961 by Akira Kurosawa. Belonging to the genus Jidéigeki or historic drama, he takes place in Japan in the nineteenth century. He tells the story of a wandering samurai who arrives in a city where, thanks to his intelligence and his talents of Katana, he causes a confrontation between two lords of the local crime. Sanjurō was expelled from the army because of a dark and obscure affair, and was later killed by Yakuza because of an even more dirty case. It would have then been resurrected by the Ninja Fukurou clan with a new body and a new goal. Equipped with a model Anāgāmī Lhost, a class 3 body, two levels under the model Bodhisattva, Sanjurō would have higher reflexes and superior strength and resilience. Under the strict direct supervision of the Oniwaban of the clan, it refines its martial skills, becoming a master of the sword, a prodigious warrior like no other, whose lethal dexterity adds to an implacable character. The Fukurou clan would have placed Sanjurō at the head of a clandestine group called Nichibotsu (Dusk) dedicated to "facilitating certain business operations" in a way that sometimes tramps international terrorism. However, after a short but intense career, the Akutagawa scandal forced the group to be dissolved to protect the honor of Zaibatsu Koremune.Banded by the Fukurou clan and without possibility to find his former status of Bushi because of his turbulent past, Sanjurō should have hidden under the name of Yojimbo, starting a career of mercenary, with alcohol and women as the only source of satisfaction.What is the true story, either any of these stories The truth is that the merenaire samurai called Yojimbo is one of the best swords that can be found in the underground world of fortune soldiers. It may seem like a dear professional and hard to hire, but in truth, it's the opposite because Yojimbo's worst enemy is itself.
