The inhabitants of Wonderland are choking on the ever-serious business of war. The Cheshire Cat offers them a mad solution in the form of corrupted shards. These Wonderlands and their artifacts offer powerful rewards, but at what price? Will you risk looking at Cheshire's chaotic smile? Will you drink the Hatter's mercurial tea?
The new Wonderland cards focus on giving, gaining and discarding shards during the war phase. These cards allow players to take the risk of earning more shards to get big increases, as well as new ways of discarding shards or giving them to other players. Competition to win the extra madness token at the end of the next tea party now begins during the war phase.
The two new quest types give players more opportunities to score quest points. Leader quests can be completed in any region, provided your leader is present. Double feat quests feature two feats that can be completed, giving players more reasons to enter the fray in different regions.
Not only does the Dark Sword mark the location of the starting battle, it also grants a significant bonus to the winner of that battle. This double-sided map adds texture to the battles you choose to send your followers to, and to the battles you try to win each round.
Wonderland's War - Shards of Madness requires the core game to play.
