Before setting out on their adventure, each player chooses one of three character trait cards drawn at random.

There are 30 unique cards, each with a variety of abilities and powers. Some character traits may allow you to exchange one ability for the strength of another, others may have a specific number of potential uses, and still others may reward certain types of action.

Other traits allow you to earn Fate tokens that can be spent to trigger powerful effects when you need them to overcome difficult situations.

Some can even be "awakened" to unlock new abilities as you play!

Whichever trait you choose, you'll need to decide how to specialize your character and make the most of your chosen play style. The Character Traits module adds asymmetry and choice to any Destinies scenario!
