Tic tac tic tac, only a few minutes to go before the finn of the match. I've got to pull off an attack and put in an unstoppable shot to win... Otherwise, it's off to the penalty shoot-out... and that's going to be hot!
Three levels of play:
- 1. Beginner : Each player sees some or all of his opponent's 4 "active" cards, and simultaneously decides to play one of his own. Depending on the value of the card played, you can either keep the ball or lose it. If you manage to keep the ball for 2 turns, you exit the passing phase and enter the shooting phase. Shooting is a duel in the form of a "chifoumi", hence the name of the game... Chifootmi!
- 2. Amateur: 3 "Dribble/Tacle" cards are added to each player. Dribbling keeps the ball in the passing phase, but the opponent's tackle can counter this dribble... or cause a free kick (chifootmi)! So be careful with this choice.
- 3. Pro: Shots except free-kicks or penalties are resolved by cards, not by "chifootmi". To score, you need to play a higher-value card, but with a maximum difference of 3. For all 3 levels, a "chifootmi" penalty session can be held if the players are tied when all the cards have been played.
