The Horus Heresy - Legiones Astartes - Deimos Pattern Rhino

The Rhino is the most widely used troop transport in the Imperium. Based on ancient SCS technology, it is robust, reliable and easy to maintain. Its engine is capable of using a variety of fuels. This made it the perfect vehicle for the Great Crusade, which often had to launch missions far from its supply centers. Thousands of Rhinos of various models were produced, and this chassis was used in many war machines. Within the Space Marine Legions, the heavily armed Deimos model is the most common.

This plastic kit allows you to assemble a Legion Rhino Transport of the typical Deimos model. This efficient transport vehicle can take a squad of 10 Legionnaires across the battlefields of the 31st Millennium, and there is enough room for characters to join the unit. Protected from enemy fire by thick armor and defensive smoke, the Legion Rhino Transport is armed with twin bolters, and can be outfitted with an assortment of weapons and utility options. This kit includes enough components to add a Havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamethrower, multi-hit or one of five combination weapon configurations (bolter, flamethrower, flare, plasma or volkite) on a swivel, as well as a projector, bulldozer blade and tracker missile. It also features various cosmetic options, such as towing hooks and a choice of a space marine gunner or observer, or simply a closed hatch.

This miniature does not feature Legion markings, to allow Warhammer hobbyists to paint it as they wish. That said, the box contains a decal sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This kit includes 102 plastic components, plus a Legiones Astartes vehicle decal sheet. This figure comes unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - The Dark Ages rulebook and the Liber Astartes - Army Book Loyalist Legiones Astartes or the Liber Hereticus: Army Book Renegade Legiones Astartes to get the most out of this figure.
