Support squads provide the Astartes Legiones with mobile and portable firepower capable of mowing down hordes of enemy troops or destroying armor in a hail of fire, combining devastating weaponry with the flexibility of infantrymen. Heavy bolters are the largest bolt-action weapons available to infantry, unleashing a deluge of bolts to shred opposing formations, while missile launchers are prized for their versatility, with explosive ammunition suitable for eliminating infantry, tanks or aircraft.

This plastic upgrade kit equips the MkVI Tactical Squad Legionnaires with powerful heavy weapons suitable for use by a Legion Support Squad. The kit includes 10 heavy bolters and 10 missile launchers, with arms to match each weapon, to promote an entire MkVI Tactical Squad into two 10-figure Legion Support Squads, or four five-figure units. Also included are four augur scanners that can be equipped with a heavy weapon, allowing your Legion Support Squads to spot and eliminate enemy units.

This upgrade kit includes 120 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the MkVI Tactical Squad kit, sold separately. These components come unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - The Dark Ages rulebook and the Liber Astartes - Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or the Liber Hereticus: Renegade Legiones Astartes Army Book to take full advantage of these upgrades.
