Laelith, the return of the cult city of French role-playing games!
Laelith is a monument of the French role-playing game. A city developed since 1986 by the editors of Casus Belli during its first incarnation and which has served as a context for countless role-playing games, which in turn have fed the life of the Holy City, domain of the God-King.
This book aims to be the ultimate edition of this game setting. Developed with the majority of the historical authors as well as with the current new talents of the French role-playing game, the will which presided over this reboot of the city, thirty years after the first era, was finally to give all the necessary space to expose the richness, the depth and the unique subtleties of this role-playing game context.
The reboot of an incredibly rich game setting
Laelith is the main book of the Laelith series. It contains only the background information for the city.
This book contains :
- A general presentation of the city, its history and the figure of the God-King
- 48 pages on each of the six terraces, as well as the Cloaca
- A chapter on the Temples, their functions and prerogatives
- A chapter on the Out of Town, the immediate and distant environment of Laelith
- A chapter on the best kept secrets of the city
- Seven scenarios (one for each deck and one for the Cloaca)
- Dozens and dozens of adventure tracks and synopses
- Laelith is a book that can be enjoyed on its own because the choice was made to remove any reference to a game system, but to fully enjoy the range, it is really preferable to have the complementary book, Rules, which gives all the information necessary to play in Forgotten Chronicles Fantasy or Heroes & Dragons.
