The Laundry is a series of novels launched in 2000 by British SF author Charles Stross, featuring a British secret service agency specialising in the occult (nicknamed the Laundry). A mixture of spy parody, geek culture and British humour, it is above all one of the most up-to-date and successful versions of the Lovecraft Mythos universe, winning several Hugo awards.
