A game to live better without CO2!
Thanks to a funny and colorful universe, covering all aspects of our lives, the Carboniq game gives you all the cards in hand to reduce your impact on the climate in a sustainable way, with friends or family!
Is it better to spend your Sunday watching all the episodes of "Plus Belle la Vie" in streaming, or to visit Marseille in the flesh? To buy the latest ultra powerful computer or to go on a cruise on a 6000 seat liner?
The figures are based on real scientific data: each carbon footprint value has been established from scientifically verified data, from the ADEME GHG database and IPCC reports, but also from reports and articles from the most up-to-date scientific literature.
A deck of 100 cards, to be drawn at the aperitif, during a family meal, or around the coffee machine, to challenge your friends, your colleagues, your boss, your grandmother, your neighbor, your postwoman, your banker, or your landlord... in short, whoever you want.
In any case, everyone is concerned!
Principle of the game
The objective of the game is simple: limit your carbon footprint, by all means!
After having constituted his carbon year, each player will have to try to improve his balance in order to win the game. To do so, you'll have to use strategy and bluff, but also be able to estimate the impact of your daily actions.
Each card represents an action: buying a smartphone, leaving the light on, eating a big burger, or going on a carpooling vacation. Each of them is associated with the amount of CO2 it emits, and thus allows to compare, in a playful way, everything that makes up our daily life.
The better a person is at estimating the carbon impact of their actions, the more likely they are to improve their carbon year and win the game. Be careful though, your opponents will surely not hear it that way and will try to divert you from the right path with some attacks.
This third edition contains 10 additional cards compared to the first version.
