The "Himitsu Bako", which means "secret box" in Japanese, is a unique puzzle made in Japan using ancestral know-how dating back to the Edo period. Simple and beautiful, this box is above all a masterpiece of Japanese craftsmanship. Boxes are distinguished by the number of movements required to open them, and by their size in sun (1 sun = approx. 3cm). Equipped with an internal mechanism, this box, once closed, leaves no possibility of opening. It can be opened thanks to a combination of 18 movements that need to be discovered one after the other.
This small Himitsu Bako is ideal as a ring gift. A highly original Japanese-style proposal... Just make sure she (or he) can open the box. Once closed, the box leaves no exit and no clue.
Exterior dimensions: 8.7cm x 6.5cm x 4.8cm
Inner dimensions: 5cm x 5cm x 3,2cm
