Players must capture precious treasures from the vampires' hideout, while rescuing villagers from the grip of the nocturnal creatures. But beware, the bites can weaken you and even turn you into a creature of the night! Players explore a vampire-infested mansion, represented by partially hidden tiles, advancing their two personal guards (meeples) from room to room, uncovering the hidden contents as they enter each room.
Each room, represented by a tile, allows you to interact with its contents by playing items (cards) from a limited hand. These items will help your guard inside the room to rescue villagers, escape vampires and hinder rival guards. Players attempt to safely reach the house's garden to occupy one of the two available seats, which allow them to claim the loot revealed during exploration.

You win the game by earning the highest number of points, obtained by rescuing villagers, eliminating vampires (unique members of the vampire dynasty earn more points when gathered in groups) and getting your hands on valuable items. But beware, rival guards can hinder your plans and mislead you. Get too many vampire bites and you risk turning into a vampire, triggering new objectives to win the game. Vampire nights is a box full of intrigue and surprises!
