Unbound allows for short, linked campaigns and has an innovative, fast-paced combat system that forces players to make tactical decisions every turn. To play Unbound, you'll need a group of 3-6 players, a game master, and one deck of regular cards per player.

Unbound blends tactical combat, world building and collaborative storytelling. It gives players and game master the opportunity to create the characters, the adventure, and the game world together, all at the same time, through a series of questions related to the powers and abilities that players choose for their characters.

These worlds can be diverse and include cyberpunk characters, wizards lost in a jungle, robotic dwarves, dragon hunters in a post-apocalyptic world, and biomechanical elf vampires!

Unbound is about little preparation and lots of content. The players and GM contribute equally to the story, so in the very first session and all subsequent sessions, there is minimal preparation. Everyone shows up and plays: less planning, more action.

Unbound's combat system is fluid and allows for interesting tactical decisions from turn to turn. By using a standard deck of cards to determine each character's odds and hit points, the combat system becomes visceral and exciting.
