Year of the Undead is a versatile roleplaying game for 1-4 players that puts players in control of telling their own story of survival in the wretched zombie apocalypse. Solo-players and groups alike can overcome action and obstacles until the threat of the undead has decayed.  

This 20-page book contains rules and guidelines for how to play Year of the Undead, using only this book, a deck of cards, and a few six-sided dice to determine challenges players face, as well as how to resolve them to stay alive until their 52 weeks of hardship have come to an end. 

This game offers a simple character creation system that offers robust storytelling opportunities to feature throughout gameplay, and features a dangerous Horde mechanic that might bring your meager survivors face-to-face with deadly waves of the undead.
Players can use this book to tell a variety of stories in this post-apocalyptic setting; macabre fans may indulge in the gratuitious ways to splatter their undead enemies, light-hearted players may find wacky solutions to their unusual dilemmas, and poetic journeyers may find new insights about themselves or others by playing different styles of this versatile game system.
