The fastest cars on the planet Baraffus are at the starting line with their engines ready to unleash their power! The boldest drivers have their hands on the wheel, their eyes on the road, and the weapons buttons waiting to be pressed. That's right: Armes is no race for the faint-hearted!
Players take it in turns to play a card from their hand, giving them an optional special effect (launching missiles, dropping bombs, repairing the car, changing lanes, loading a special ability) and a straight-line movement value. Players can also unleash their special abilities, enabling them to play more cards or activate special effects.
There are two types of card, and players draw them according to their position on the racetrack, keeping the game balanced and uncertain right to the end.
There's also a "championship mode" that allows players to customize their cars and play multiple races.
The game board is modular and consists of twelve cardboard fields, all with unique effects and obstacles, including various 3D elements such as bridges, volcanoes and wild creatures.
