Luchador is the most fearsome fighter on the planet! He'll stop at nothing to become the King of Tokyo!
Wear Masks, Take on Challenges!

The Luchador Monster Pack introduces new gameplay elements: Masks and Challenge cards! You can use these elements even if you're playing without Evolution cards or the Luchador Monster.

During set-up, each player receives a Mask, which he attaches to his Monster figurine. Shuffle the Challenge cards and form a face-down deck. Each player then draws one, looks at it secretly and keeps it face-down in front of him/her.

During the game, when a Monster decides to stay in Tokyo, the attacking Monster can now initiate a Challenge.
Challenge accepted!

To challenge a monster is to face it in a mano à mano that combines power and bluffing, and in which the other monsters can intervene as allies. The aim: to win rewards and rip off opponents' masks.

The 2 players play, face-down, the Challenge card placed in front of them. The Challenger and Champion count to 3 and simultaneously choose whether to reveal their Challenge card or leave it face-down.

The Challenger and Champion each add their Strength value to that of their Ally (if any). The player with the highest total is declared the winner. The player who lost the Challenge must give one of his Masks to the winner.

If only one of the 2 players reveals his card: he is declared the winner. His Ally's card is also revealed. However, the player who lost the Challenge does not give a Mask to the winner.

The winner of the Challenge wins the reward shown on his Challenge card.
Evolution cards included!

As always with King of Tokyo Monster Packs, Evolution cards are included, allowing you to play as Luchador in Power Up! mode, for both King of Tokyo and King of New York.
