A legendary tile-laying game that's both accessible and clever!

In Génial! players take it in turns to place colored domino tiles on a game board, scoring points for each line of colored symbols they enlarge.

The trick, however, is that a player's score is equal to his worst color, not his best, so he has to score points for all colors instead of specializing in just one or two.

The game comprises 120 domino tiles, each made up of two hexagons joined together; each hexagon contains one of the six colors, with most tiles having hexagons of different colors.

Each player has six tiles at his disposal and, on his turn, places a tile on two free hexagons of the game board. For each hex on that tile, he scores one point in that color for each hex of the same color adjacent to it and for each hex in a straight line from that tile. If a player's color score reaches 18, he immediately takes another turn.

At the end of his turn, he fills his area of the board with six tiles. (Before replenishing his tiles, he can also discard all his tiles, then draw six new tiles from the bag).

When no more tiles can be placed on the board, or when a player scores 18 points in each color, the game ends. Players then compare their lowest scores, and the player with the highest score wins.

Awesome includes rules for both solitaire and team play.
