Keep the tempo and play in rhythm!
Choose a player to be the metronome, responsible for keeping the tempo and dealing the cards. The metronome chooses the cards according to their difficulty and shuffles them.
For the first few rounds, we recommend starting with value 3 cards.
The metronome deals a face-up card to each player and begins to mark a measure (one, two, three, four), repeating it throughout the game. This marks the rhythm to be followed.
After the first bar (one, two, three, four), the other players clap or strike at the same time as indicated on their card.
At each bar, before the third, the metronome gives a new card to one of the players. From now on, the players must swap notes. For each number in the bar, they sing a note. One player may never have two more cards than another.
If, at any point, the metronome detects an error, it stops the song by shouting
Clap! All players keep their card with the highest score, except the one who made the mistake, who gives his or her highest card to the metronome.
If no one makes a mistake, and all players have been able to play their 4 cards for one time signature, everyone keeps their highest-scoring card, and the metronome keeps none.
The remaining cards are shuffled again, and the player to the right of the previous card keeps his highest-scoring card, while the metronome keeps none.
The game ends when all players have played the role of metronome once. The player with the most points wins.
