Ariovistus: A Falling Sky Expansion extends Falling Sky to replay Caesar's first entry into Gaul, with a Helvetian migration challenging the Aedui and Germanic tribes pressing in close behind. New components and a new faction allow one player to take command of the Germanic tribes, while veteran Roman, Aeduan and Belgian players face unusual strategic dynamics and new events. For the more adventurous, an extended scenario covers Caesar's entire time in Gaul - almost a decade of resistance and revolt.
To this prequel to the popular COIN series volume, this expansion adds tactically refined and more aggressive non-player opponents, as well as thicker player boards usable in both the original Falling Sky scenario and the Ariovistus scenario.
