Pique Plume, a memory game

Pique plume is a game where children must use their memory to advance on the board. Each player represents a rooster or a hen. The principle is simple: the birds have a feather in their possession and must go around the board to catch their opponents. 24 illustrated egg-shaped squares form a circle. In the center, 12 hexagonal tiles are laid out face down, reminiscent of the patterns on the squares. The little players move from square to square and progress along the course, trying to find the right associated drawings by memory.
Pique Plume, a chase game

The birds are placed at equal distance from each other. The chase can begin in the backyard!  If the player matches the drawing of the square in front of him with the right tile, he can move forward. As long as he is correct, he keeps his hand. As he moves forward on the board, the gap with his opponent in front will close. If he passes in front of him, this player can then steal all his feathers. If a player is completely plucked, he remains in the game and can then try to catch up with his opponent and pluck him in turn.

The race ends when a rooster or a hen has all four feathers.
