Famed SF&F illustrator, Philippe Caza is best known for his comic strips (published in the magazines Pilote and Heavy Metal) and graphic novel series (Nights, The Age of Darkness…). His many novel illustrations (over 300) have also left their mark on our imagination, with covers for iconic books by Isaac Asimov, Jack Vance, etc.

Divided into chapters, each dedicated to a different facet of his work, the book focuses on the illustrations that have shaped his career, including his work on comic books, SF&F novel covers, CD covers, tabletop role-playing games (Call of Cthulhu…), video games (Kult, Drakkhen), and animated movies (Light Years, The Rain Children…).

This art book also retraces his early and personal work, and features a long interview in which he reflects upon the key moments of his career.
