Brass Birmingham

Brass Birmingham is a strategy and economics game that tells the story of competing entrepreneurs in Birmingham during the Industrial Revolution, between 1770 and 1870.

The tray represents a map of the Birmingham region during its industrial revolution. The cities present can accommodate certain types of plants. Each player has a personal set of factory tiles (coal mine, steel mill, cotton mill, port and shipyard). It is also necessary to link cities together. To do this, during the first half of the game you will use channels and then during the second half of the game you will gradually replace them with railways.

In Brass Birmingham, victory points correspond to industrialization, canals and rails bring victory points. While factories earn points only when they can produce and mines only when they can transport extracted resources to the factories. To win the game, score the most victory points, which are counted at the end of each phase.

Your goal will be to grow your business by producing and exporting cotton, pottery and manufactured goods. You will also have to build breweries! Beer will be used as a currency for exports. The resources requested for export change for each party.

In Brass Birmingham, victory points correspond to the industrialization of your company. To win the game, score the most victory points, which are counted at the end of each phase.
