Will it tilt or not? That's the exciting question with every move the players make. Kipp X is captivating, challenging and yet very easy to play. Simply place a wooden cube on the cross rocker and you're done - if it weren't for the tilting. Kipp X is an exciting game of skill and great fun for the whole family or friends!
The dice are divided among the players. With 3 or 4 players everyone gets 18 dice, with 2 players everyone gets 28 dice. The cross seesaw is placed in the middle between the players.
The players take turns. One player at a time places dice on one of the upright sides of the cross seesaw. The turn is over when the following happens: either the cross seesaw loses its balance and tips over or dice fall off but the cross seesaw remains standing.
The player must take any dice that fall from the cross seesaw into his supply. After the player has placed his first dice, he may voluntarily end his turn.
The winner of the game is the player who gets rid of all their dice first.
The attraction of the game is to place as many dice as possible on the cross seesaw so that the next player is virtually forced to use their dice to tip the seesaw. But it's not that easy. When is the right time to stop? Many a player has misjudged the physical forces and caused the see-saw to tip prematurely.
