Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to get rid of your cards until you reach the Escape and find a Runaway card to break free. The first player to escape from the mansion wins. For the more daring players, there's an optional challenge: reveal the four keys in the correct order to open the exit door.
Monsters company
In this mansion where you find yourselves, without knowing how, you and your companions must confront monsters, vampires, ghosts, undead, skeletons, and werewolves, all intent on one thing – scaring you! So, muster your courage, find the right strategy without trembling, and defend yourselves. Will you be quick enough to enter the Halloween party when you hear the eerie incantation before the doors close?
Gameplay
All players receive 15 cards and choose 10 for the game, the remaining cards go into the draw pile. A player initiates a Fear with one or more members of the same family, a monster, or hosts a Halloween party. All other players must defend themselves in turn with a Parry card, a "Not even afraid" card, or a Bonus card. Each Bonus card has an action that affects the players. If you have 2 cards or fewer in your hand, then you are in the Escape, and you only need to find a Runaway card to exit the frightening mansion and win the game.
Exit Code Combination
At each of your Fear turns, you have the chance to discover one of the four keys to the exit door. These keys will allow you to open the mansion door and rid yourselves of these malevolent beings that have been relentless in scaring you.
