Dystopian Wars - Alliance Levant Support Squadrons

Passing the port, the Levant's skimmer squadron turned a spray of seawater into mist using its repulsor generators. A flicker of rainbow light delighted all who saw it.

The same sun glinted off the gold filigree that had not yet been damaged in battle.

It was a glorious sight, inspiring awe in all those gathered on the quay.

It was no secret that these support cruisers passed through here to stock up on supplies before leaving France for whatever exotic sea they were protecting in the name of the glorious Latin Alliance.

It's a humble crowd of fishermen, their families and everyday folk who keep this little town running on a daily basis. Carpenters, shopkeepers and technicians keep the town running smoothly.

The children had made pennants and streamers to salute the hovering ships.

These are support cruisers. The Gascogne and Alma class cruisers ensured that the warships could do their job of servicing the many Alliance outposts scattered around the world.

They didn't have the glory of combat, but their work was just as important.It's no coincidence that they were ordered to stock up here, as the many publicists in the service of Napoleon III know how important it is to keep up the morale of the man in the street.
