Who's got the most eggs here? We've got to act fast! Me, you, us, you or nobody?
Only the player who keeps an overview, reacts quickly and always has the right answer at hand, gets rid of his own cards first and wins the game. And the tie... it's the yellow (mirror) egg!
At the start of the Henrys Hennen game, players stand around the cloth mirror egg and each receive a deck of cards, which is placed in front of them.
Each player then turns over the top card and places it in his or her own discard pile.
Each card turned over must be immediately followed by a statement answering the question: “Who has the most eggs?
Is it perhaps your own red hen? Or the others' common green hens? Are all the eggs already broken, or is there a tie?
Then pay close attention, count with the Henry chick and, in the event of a tie, immediately tap the fried egg. The right reaction depends on the cards on display, and is constantly changing.
But beware: if someone gives the wrong answer or hesitates too long, they have to take cards from all the discard piles, and victory slips away.
After all, getting rid of your own deck before the other players does is what Henrys Hennen is all about.
